Our flight was 6.40am in the morning!

We requested to have the emergency exit seats during check-in. The leg room is bigger and spacious.

Up! up! And Above!

Instaed of taking the airport express (MTR), we decided to take the airport shuttle which will send us directly to our hotel. The rates are comparable to the MTR and it more convenient.
ME! on the airport shuttle bus to our hotel.

The scenery… looks like the malaysia expressway ah?!

Along the bridge. Crossing from Hongkong island to Kowloon.

Those flats must be damn expensive!

Spotted the container yard

Dunno why we will take this photo. But it turned out to be the apartment Claris lived when she was working in HK!

Shops along our hotel

We requested for non-smoking room. So we had to wait for a while before we can check in. Left out baggage in the hotel and went out to wacky our neighbour. Dear was hungry! So we decided to try the 香港茶餐厅 just behind out hotel.

We ordered the set meal. And it comes with a winter melon and pork ribs soup. Dear is super happy. I cant finish my portion and he was so happy to help me finish! Heez..

We took the MTR to Cental. Walked to the central pier to take the ferry to Mui Wo. And from there, we took another bus which brings us up to the great buddha. (Cable car was under mantainance, so no luck in trying out)

It was a super sunny day!

On board the ferry. Its air conditioned. Just like those we take to batam or bintan.

The all handy ‘Octopus Card’ aka EZ Link card.

Look at how sunny the weather is! Phew.. sweating..

Isn’t this scenery so beautiful… this is the lake we passed by on our way up to great buddha

The steps to walk up..

A Fun Nitez Partying
September 12, 2009 at 4:13 am | In InteRestiNg PLaCes, It's my Life, PhOtos | No CommentsWee… Had a super wonderful night at firefly yesterday. I thought i wont be enjoying especially after the issue that happened at work. Its good meeting up with some old friends. It makes me happy!!
I was late for out gathering dinner at Din Tai Fung at Wisma. As usual, clearing Sh*t at work. Anyway, i reached an hr later.. haha.. Sorry gals! Jen Jie and Jasmine ordered the food already, so once i reached the food are served. =) We were chit chatting all the way. And it seems like the waitress are kinda impatient with us.. their body language signal to us to faster eat and leave. I even make fun and said that maybe we will eat till the shop ‘Da Yang’ or maybe until their last order. And true enough, the waitress came at 930 and asked for any last order from us! Haha.
Yummy!! Xiao Long Bao is nice. We gt a complimetary 6 mini red bean bao with spending above $50. Oh my.. pls dun bother to order this dish. So sweet!! Imagine i’m a person that love sweet stuff and i find it so sweet.
Then we went to FireFly at Marriot Hotel and join in Xiao Pang. He had made a reservation over there. And actually, it was a night meant to celebrate Xiao Pang Birthday! Oh my.. so maloo because we dunno. And it was his fren (Uncle Joe) that told us. He wants us to make him drunk (he nv get drunk b4). We did! We tried all means but Xiao Pang also very smart in ‘Siam-ing’ Haha..

It was a fun night to let out, relax and have fun. There’s also a live band. Mostly playing canto songs.. but also other songs if you request. Age group seems more towards the 30s.

xiao Pang is super high lo… kena cheated in drinking Tequila Shots. Then still wanna trick me to share Waterfall with him. Heng ah… I ‘Siam’.. Haha ;P
Left the place around 2.45pm. Slept at 4am and woke up at 8am (Why? Because thinking of work. Haiz…)

Our 4th year together!
September 5, 2009 at 2:43 am | In LoVe Is in the aiR, PhOtos, SpeCiaL OccaSsioNs | No CommentsThis time, we woke up early for our MacDonald breakfast at East Coast. And we did make it!! Well, that’s because we alway mentioned to wake up early for Mac but by the time we wake up and dilly dally here and there. It’s over! Dear had his Big breakfast, me and my yummy hotcakes, and we ordered 1 more MacGriddle to share.. hehe.. Greedy
MacDonald Breakfast @ East Coast

There are more soft toys machine over there. The business have expended and I’m so tempted to catch!!! They have very nice Disney and Sanrio character. But Dear kept pulling me away… *GrinZ*
Then we took a stroll from Mac to Big Splash.. A long stroll but it was a nice walk to enjoy the morning fresh air, listen to the sound of the wave and chit chatted (Especially when both of us are busy with work, we are too tired to sms or call each other)

Mini Golf @ Lilliputt
Finally!! We found Lilliputt. Situated at 3rd level of big splash. We pay $18 per pax and went in for some golfing action!! No Shoes are allowed and we have to wear socks. So its advisable to bring your own, else i think you have to purchase from them.
Our 1st stop, Changi Airport! Dear posing to hit the ball. We were unfamilar with holding a golf club, posing and hitting it. I found myself to be so stiff. Haha…

Thats me! We have to hit the ball to roll up the circle thing. So need adequate strength. Too light the ball will roll back again.

Singapore turf city…

Thats Esplanade! There’s 2 ways, so you can choose which hole to hit in. The ball can come out in any hole, there are also side holes. So we never know which hole the ball will come out.

This is SIngapore Mrt… Spot the yellow ball in the train. Hee.. Its bringing the ball to another exit.

There is it! The ball is out.

Dear is preparing to hit the ball across the bridge.

Me me again!

My pink top and pink ball!

Suntec city fountain of wealth!! This hole is difficult! I tried many times.

Haha.. Bryan ball was stuck in between. Isn’t he pro!!?? Hehe~

My ball was so close in getting in the hole. But then it just stop rolling just beside it!! Arghhh!!

A giant at the food centre?

They both look so alike… >_<

The last hole is ‘Sentosa’. So once the ball is hit into the hole. It wont come out.

The last hole! Hole no. 18!

Wee.. time to count our score!

Oops! Total 18 holes. Bryan got 85 and me, 93. Haha…
Wat a lousy golfer!

Dinner at 国府 –> steamboat
Cravings for steamboat!

Our Little Gift Xchange

I so love this paper bag. Its so nice!!! I have to keep it.

I knew what i was going to get.. Cause i saw him carrying this bag after my sunday school. He was with Claris waiting for me. So i knew it must be her that told him i like this. Haha.. he was so angry. Coz i always guessed it right.

Its a very nice jewellery cum musical box! Love it =) I’m going to use it in my new flat. I told dear its very empty, so i told him to start buying jewellery for me to fill up the box. haha.. he was so shock!
Let me see… i have 2 jewellery box. One hello kitty box from my excolleagues and this one.. hm.. so i need even MORE jewelleries!! ;-p

Many little drawers/compartments and a little fatty flying rabbit that dance!!

Here is my gift for him.. Guess what!!?

I specially chose this card.. i find it look so much like the both of us..

Got it?

I got him an Osim iPamaper massager. He always comlain of aching body and alwasy ask me to massage for him. I need to use 200% of my srength to An Mo for him. So i got this! Its good! Very strong. Very shiok! The salesgirl said that it can reduce the positive ions (using too much comp) in our body by giving out negative ions.

Happy Anniversay…

Prawn Catching at BottleTree Park
August 23, 2009 at 1:46 pm | In InteRestiNg PLaCes, It's my Life, PhOtos | No CommentsThe prawn catching session at BottleTree Park is so damn fun!

There are 2 ponds and the uncle is so kind enough to let us go to the other pond which he said is meant for group booking. There were only a couple and 3 of us. So we expected higher chance of catching more prawns. Heehee!! We used the free bait that was provided by them. Some kind of meat sliced into very tiny pieces. Hm… we waited for almost 1 hr but with no luck. Could feel the prawns biting on it. But when we pulled the rod out, it got away. Umhh!! Then we decided to use live worms. Luckily Colin was there to help us with the worm. Wow!! Prawns do like that. Once the rod is in the water, could feel the prawn biting it.
Claris was the first one to catch a prawn.
Then Colin decided to climb over the fence and trying his luck on the bridge. Well… that is a super good spot! Many prawns hiding under there! Woo~ and suddenly, he just kept catching non stop!
So both of us ladies waiting patiently. Occassionly changing spots.
Even under the sorching sun also worth it! Just to catch a Prawn. Hahaha…
Time really passed fast man… and we stopped at 7.45pm when its too dark for us to see.
Woohoo…
Then its time to BBQ the FRESH PRAWNS!!
Total victory. 16 prawns + 4 prawns given to us by the couple.
Colin is the King of Prawn! He caught a total of 12 prawns. Wow!!
We wanted to try out the Long Kang fishing, but it is only for kids. But still , the uncle is kind enough to let us try. Ya lo.. got $$ why don’t want. Haha.. But its too dark. And we are rushing back to collect the dogs before the pet shop close. So next time then!
We will be back to BottleTree again for more fishing!! And to take our photo with the bottle tree. The one shown in the picture below.
Shall update the photos once Claris send to me.. =)
