On the First day of Christmas…

Finally its Christmas! Which means it going to be the end of the Moo Moo year. After a whole year of endurance, finally i got my bonus. Heez! The past week was all about shopping! Busy buying presents for colleagues, friends and family. Tired but yet happy. 
Went for last minute shopping at TM in the afternoon. Its just like mini orchard road, the crowd was so terrible. In the evening, we had Christmas pot luck at C&C house yesterday. Jason came too, saw his little baby boy. So cute!! Had a wonderful time! Went to catch the show Avatar at Marina. Its a nice show. I really dont mind watching it again. 
Slept at 4am this morning.
Somehow, i’m really touched that Dear bought me an IPhone as my Christmas gift. It was a real surprise! I really didn’t expected it. And he even got everything settled for me. Although he is super busy with his work for the past few months, he still managed to steal time out of his busy work to plan this surprise for me. Thanks dear… OH! The telepathic part was i also got him an Apple product –> I POD Nano!! Heez! So he was really shocked as well. Haha!! So now i need to study my I Phone. Cant wait to download movies and games. Wee~ And i need to get a screen protector and casing. Any gd deals out there?
Today was kinda lazy. Went to Parkway for our breakfast cum lunch. Visited Bryan’s aunt in the evening then went to Bugis for Dinner. Wanted to go down town to take some photos on the Christmas Lightings but felt kinda lazy. And the amount of people at Orchard, i don’t think we can take any nice photos too.. So well.. maybe next few days.
Btw, i passed ‘Shi Mu’ my drawing for Noah’s Ark. She was quite impressed. So she will use it for the Sunday school. Yippy!! Now i still owe her another 2 more drawings which i need to submit this Sunday and i haven’t even started! >_<
Looking forward to 2 dinners. One buffet dinner at The Fullerton on the 29-Dec and another buffet dinner at Grand Hyatt on 30-Dec!
This is a season of putting on more pounds!! >_<

I woke up at 11am today! Oh my! SO late. And i dreamt of wierd stuff. Heehee.. so farni.
For the past few weekends, i’ve watched quite a number of movies. Nice shows… makes me laugh non stop.
Aiyo… =)
Went to the Nike store sales at.. eh.. i think is sunplaza at clementi. Freaking crazy, we have to Q to go in. And Q to pay. And we spent like almost 4 hrs inside. Its Crazy la!! I think we Q for like 2hr to pay loh.. But, its really cheap la.. plus we have a nike voucher for 40% off. I bought 2 shorts, 2 polo tops, 1 shoe and 1 bag. Luckily we went on the last day, else i think we would have spend even more.
Had seafood at Macpherson. Disappointment. It was a rush, service was bad, waited long and Exp! We will not go back there again.. oh!! I’m thinking of chilli crab now… and my favourite fried bun to dip with the sauce. *Drooling*
We had in house BBQ party at claris service yard the other sunday. HAha.. so awesome. The good thing is we have a wonderful chef to bbq for us, so we just wait and eat will do. Wahaha.. We were afraid that neighbours may complain and at 8.22pm, we heard the bell or alarm. And we tot it was the fire alarm. Gave us a shock! Heez~

Went back home before heading down to JB. It was a very last minute decision. So we went at around 3pm. Reached the S’pore custom ard 4.30pm. But there was a long jam from Sg custom to JB custom. The new custom is further away from the old custom. Although its bigger and with many more counters, but also also still slow la.. then the way the counters are situated are really damn dumb.. we have to walk a long way to the counter, after stamp passport we have to walk out then make a U-turn and walk all the way back again.. But the good thing is we no need to squeeze anymore.. and from the custom to CitySquare is all sheltered.. no need to be afriad of the rain.
We went to buy the movie tickets for the 7.20pm show - The Shinjuku Incindent!!!
Movie was so so.. Jackie seems so dumb in the movie..
After movie.. we wanted to grab a coffee at ‘The Old Town Coffee cafe’.. I miss my Hot Chocolate!!! But it was already closed so we tried out this new snack –> Mr Baoz. Its like dunkin donuts but its in the shape of a Bao. Because of the closing, so not much variety left.

Merry Xmas at Conrad Centennial Hotel

Last week was a long holiday for me. I took 1/2 day leave on X’mas eve and 1 day leave on boxing day. X’mas was good! Except for the 1 nuisance person. We checked into Conrad Hotel on X’mas eve. We got a room each together with colin and claris. Our rooms were just side by side, so it was totally cool. The dinner at Seafood Paradise was fanastic.. The prawns and chilli crab is the Best!!! And the deep fried buns with chilli crab sauce… Yummy!!! Drove back to the hotel to exchange our gifts.. Claris and me exchanged gift. I got her a Davidoff Perfume Set and she got me a dress from Hoola I already wore the dress on boxing day.. HAha… Bryan and Colin exchange presents, Bryan got a Champion League Man Utd Jersey for Colin and so ‘qiao’, colin also got a Man Utd tee shirt for Bryan. Haha… Ganthiong and Jerry gift exchange was so farni… could see that GT face turned SIANZ immediately upon opening Jerry gift… Haha.. GT got Jerry a Polo Ralph Perfume set but or cute little Jerry got GT a Voodoo Doll.. Haha… But the doll is cute la..
Then we went to catch the movie - Twilight at 12am! I was so tired by then. Fell asleep in the movie for i think abt 15mins? Not long la… Hm… movie was like those teenage love story, something like sweet valley kind.. but still ok la.. Since we all seldom watch love stories. ;-P We walked to back to our hotel. Wa.. the wind at night is really chilling!! I call this the “New Year Wind”
Woo~ and i had my nice warm Bubble Bath.. :-p
Christmas Day
The breakfast at Oscar’s was super delicious… Yummy!! A really huge variety of food. The service at Conrad is also super good. No wonder its so expensive.

We headed down to Expo for our Church lunch - Love Feast. 8 course chinese meal. Wanted to catch the movie Ip Man at night but was fully booked..
Boxing Day
Bryan got work so i went to Bugis for a new hairstyle. I went to perm my hair. A new hairstyle for a new year! Hopefully its not that Aunti la.. i so scare i will look so old with perm hair. Luckily bryan said i’ve changed from a girl to a lady. Hehe.. Spent like 4hrs at the salon. Its a torture lehz.. Bryan picked me up and we went down to PS to meet up with the guys to watch the movie IP MAN!! Nice show! I felt that Donnie like become slimmer lehz.. the face like become longer/thinner?? Hm…
Wee~ i got a new hp yesterday. Its my Xmas present from dear. The CORAL PINK samsung F480.
Its nice because of the color. And i Love it. I also changed my service provider to Starhub. I think M1 totally sucks la.. Went to met up with the ex-menlo colleagues at Novena for the steamboat buffet. Then we all headed to Eve house for the Xmas gift exchange. Also managed to catch the video on Eve marriage day. Then Eve kept questioning bryan on his plans.. could see that he look so stress. Haha…

Met up with Shiwei and qiurong on friday night. Went for dinner to celebrate Shi belated b’day.
Nice time catching… shi even reminded me of the EVSS days where we gals played in the toilet.. haha…

At night, we met up with colin and claris for dinner. Oh… the yummy western food at the coffee shop near their block is moving out. They really serve very nice weatern food. Anyway, we got a business card from them. So we will go patrol them once they got their new stall.
The guys went to watched soccer and the 4 of us played mahjong. Wee… i even won a ‘ wu tai’ game. The guys are so stressed out that they kept talking non-stop to divert my attention. At the starting of the game, mine is already ’si tai’, then colin throw out ‘bai ban’ and so i ‘pong’ and adds up to ‘wu tai’ haha.. that was when colin was so stress out. But in the end, it was claris that threw out the winning tile for me.. Exciting game!

Driving Test
Last tuesday went for my driving test. FAILED!!
I’m so unlucky, the route i kena was the worst route in Ubi!! The busiest road!! And according to my instructor, he said that since my test time was 8.25am, it is very unlikely that i will test on that route, so throughout my driving lessons, i’ve only been on that road 3 times!! Haiz… Can u imagine?? 8.25am… eunos busiest road… many cars… have to avoid bus lane. So in the end, i was trapped in the bus lane. Cant change lane coz there’s too many cars and no one is willing to allow me!!
My next test is on 15th July. This time i chosen the 10.15am slot. Pray.. pray… hope can pass!!
Mother’s Day
Was suppose to treat my mom and grandma for a meal. But ended up i treated the whole family for lunch at ‘The Soup Restaurant’ Oh.. poh poh love the Samsui chicken!!!

Harold & Kumar –> Okay… this is really farni.
Iron Man –> A nice show.
Dance of the dragon (fann wong) –> not much of excitment, a little boring.
What happen in last Vegas –> This is also nice.. relaxing.. humourous..
Work
Already started work for like 1 month. Very very busy!!! There’s so many things to do, so many e-mails. I think i spend most of my time reading and replying e-mails. Well… afterall, i work for the sake of $$$. So, i dun really care much la. As long as can ‘ping an’ start work and off work, every month end can get my salary, thats gd enuf. Haha… Afterall, i guess no one likes to work la… we all work to earn $$$ to do the things we like.. to buy the stuffs we want.
Vesak day is next Monday!!! Dear is suggesting to go for a short trip. Very the last minute again.

What a week

So many till i’m getting to be afraid of this working world… everyone seems like wearing a mask to work.
And i think i’m feeling insecure these few days. So afraid of going into another company that is not any better than my current. But its all about RISK. If i dun take this risk, i would be forever just a small fly in the co earning a peanut pay.
Anyway, because of my testimonial. I really got so fed up that i went to requested chopper (GM) to re-issue another one for me. That really got on my nerve. And since i’m leaving, so hack care man!! I just wen to approach him. (maybe he also tulan with me) haha… who cares!! In the end, he asked me to write it myself since he is on biz trip, no time… fine!!! I shall write it myself!!!
Met up with jiaping on fri night for dinner and movie at PS. Watched ‘The Spiderwick Chronicles’. Then dear came and pick me up and we went for ‘tou hua’. Oh… and this was real fun. Its my 1st time playing snooker with dear. We went to the one at East COast. Played for ard an hr or so only… i’m so lousy at it. Hm.. think the last time i played was during poly days.. oh my.. its like 3+yrs ago.. wahaha…
Driving lessons on both wkend. It was fun. Mr Lee say i’m not too bad at it. The only disadvantage is my size. *bleah* i really have this BIG problem of lifting and letting go the handbrake on the slope. Haiz.. so headache.. i nd to use both hands.. so i went to train up on my arms.. went to the gym for some weight lifting. Now both arms real damn aching…
Hoho.. also watched another movie, STep Up 2: The Streets with deary. Nice show!! The dances are sooo cool!!
Met up with C&C and Ben&Jerry for ‘Zhi Cha’ at pasir ris west mall. Celebrating Ah BEn belated b’day. Haha..
Oh!! I offset all my leaves and so my last day is 4Apr. Woohoo… could have worked for another wk la.. but would prefer a rest… heehee
I’m going to Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) on 6Apr to 10Apr with mommy…
But i’m the one paying lo… haiz…
But still, i’m so HAPPY coz i can go holiday again… Yippy!!
So lucky that i managed to book the jetstar promotion last wkend for trvavel period during Apr. Hee~
Still need to confirm hotel… so last minute.. hope we can able to secure one.
P.S: Something wrong with my appetite. Get really hungey recently. Last sat even went to buy supper as early as 3am in the morning. Bought the 6 pcs nuggets meal from MacDonald, change the drink to ice milo. Ate all finish b4 going to sleep… OMG!!!

So after the cooking part, i brought my ‘ai xin barley and fu chok’ to dearie hm for him.. then we went to AMK to meet claris, colin and thiong for the steamboat buffet.. Was really hungry, so i ate a bowl of rice which i usually don’t when i’m having steamboat..not worth it la.. haha..
After dinner which was already like 9pm.. the guys suddenly wanna go check out the soccer odds, so we girls went shopping… haha.. the guys make a wrong choice in letting us do so. We just went into ‘This Fashion’ (really very big outlet), saw these dresses which are quite nice, so decided to try. Then dearie and the guys came and they wereso shock!! HAha.. they even said like:” we just wen away for like less than 10 mins and u girls already have so many dresses to try!!??” Still we went to try while the impatient guys decided to go back home first to watch ESPN soccer -_-”’. They drove 1 car back leaving another car for claris.. hehe..
Since that is the case, after the This Fashion shopping, we went to walk around amk.. most of the shops were already like closed.. so we went into the central shopping mall, came across this stationery and gift shops… coz it was the only shop still open, so we went in, Awh… to our surprise, the stufs they sell are sooo sooo nice… the notebooks, pens, files, passport holders, card holders, organisers.. all soo nice… different different patterns.. haha.. shop and admire those stuffs till like 11pm before deciding to leave for a drink.
Then bryan called.. he thought what has happened to us.. why the journey from amk to bedok would take like more than 2 hrs.. haha.. Shop like crazy…. Last week, i already spents like 200 or 300 on shopping… dunno why, these few weeks i’m in the shopping mood..
Slack at C&C house till like 2am before heading back to dearies hm… Zzzz..
Morning went for breakfast at MP market… then again head home.. dearie went to do his housework while i plan out phuket trip thingy.. was suppose to learn driving in the afternoon but was cancelled.. next wk going into circuit already..
I went to take a nap in the nice rainy weather then we headed down to boon lay to pass someone his bicycle then down to orchard..
Oh.. and we managed to watch the changing shift of the MP guards for the president. Think they marched all the way from dunno where to the Istana.. Cool!! Didn’t knw guard change shift also must be so ‘long zhong’.. haha..
Then went to meet them at CV for Nasi Lemak before heading back my hm…
3 more days to my phuket trip… YIPPY!!!!!
