Training at Mac Ritchie

My legs are aching! My back is aching!! My body is so painful!!

 Hng.. Hng!!

Friday night, mom suggested to go to Mac Ritchie for a walk on saturday morning. Went for breakfast then we headed down to Mac Ritchie. By the time we reached. It was already noon.

The begining was very relax.. we started off with Chemperai Trail.

Its nice.. with wooden trail along the reservior.. althogh its in the afternoon. But it was still cooling. Along the way.. we still took many pictures. The CHemperai Trail and Jering Trail is 2km. We completed in 1hrs.

Haha.. So Dad and i suggested that we walk back. But my stubborn mom insited to walk straight. She wants to complete the whole reservior, she wants to go to the tree top!! She already walked so far ahead of us. The whole MAc Ritchie resevior is like 11km!!

There is no turning back if we were to carry on. Coz the tree top walk is in the centre of the reservior. Anyway.. we continue to walk. ANother 4.4km to the tree top. After the Jering trail.. we walk through the Golf Link. This road is very hot. Cause its like beside the golf course. SO there is no trees along the way..

After completing another 2.6km. We reached the Jeluting Tower.

By the time, i was started to feel tired. THinking of still the long way to tree top and also the way back to the starting point. Then from there we continue to Ranger station. Thats the resting point with toilet and water cooler at the bottom of the tree top. By the time we reached Ranger station, it started to rain. We took a rest and in less than 15mins. The rain stopped. So we made our way up to the tree top.

The road up hill is so steep lo.. then my legs already so heavy and i cant even walk straight. Phew.. The sky turned really dark and theres thunder. But my mom still insist on going up la. We waited outside the guide post. Due to the thunder and lightning, they forbid us to walk over the metal bridge. Very disappointed la.. all the long walk and i cant walk the tree top!! After waiting like 15mins, then the guide suddenly allow us to walk through. Yippy! But his attitude really veru bad la. Ask us to off hp coz he’s afaid of the lightning then when ppl is switching off their hp then he shouted and ask us to faster walk or not if he change his mind then we cant walk! What the F**K! In less then 10 secs want us to faster walk and off our hp??!!Wanted to use my hp to take photos la.. but then there are still other ppl on the bridge also.. so better not la.. There are stair case that lead us down the hill. Half way through, it started to rain cats and dogs. I already all drenched! So ‘lang bei’ loh.. by the time we reached Rabger station again, The rain stopped. Wa lau… can u believe it. ANyway, we rested for a while and we qucikly walk out. Another 4.8km walk back to the enrance. I just continue to walk.. kept thinking its like 2 times of my 2.4km run. The road back was slippery. Especially after the rain with mud and water in the forest. Then the uneven roads, sands and stones and the uphill and downhill. Haiz.. What an experience la.. remind me out my OBS couse. Haha..

But now.. my legs are really damn aching lo…
