DAY 1

Went to Harris Resort at Batam for our weekend spa trip (also one of his b’day prezzie!). It was a wonderful experience. Although it has not much facilities at the resort, but it has a very big swimming pool. There are some games like bowling, squash , billard etc. But it was quite old. There’s also a Go-Kart. The room was big, spacious and clean, with a private balcony overlooking the swimming pool and TV with SCV. The Cafe serve nice Italian food.

There wasn’t much thing at Batam. Once we checked-in on Sat morning. We took the 10.30am mini van to Nagoya Town (SGD$8/pax). 3 shopping centres over there (walking distance from one another). The newest sc is Nagoya mall but many shops are not up yet.

There’s a departmental store - Matahari and a hypermart. Hypermart is a better place to shop… heehee… bought cheap food stuff back to our resort. We took our lunch at BFC food outlet… cheap but not that nice. I only like the coke float… Haha. The van came and picked us up at 2pm.

It was raining and we were also tired, went back room to relax and take a short nap before proceeding for our spa treatment. This spa thing was wonderful, a very nice experience. Big B liked it very much =). Its a 3hr treament with body scrub, massage, reflexology and milk bath. The milk bath was at the outdoor… so nice… We felt so revitalise.

Too bad, i didn’t brought my camera to the spa. Experiencing it is better then explaining it… we wouldn’t mind going back again for the spa. =) Dinner was different as we tried it at one of those roadside stall 5mins away from our resort. The Ayam rice was nice and cheap… But the road was dark over there, if it wasn’t one of the therapist lady that brought us there, we wouldn’t know. Sunday was also more of relaxing.

DAY 2

After breakfast. We went to the swimming pool. Played some games. Relax at our big room before checking out.

Overall, it was a nice place for a short getaway during the weekend from the hastle life, a good and cheap place for relaxation and Spa. :-)
